Manchester bar and restaurant poised to open

6th May 2008

The team behind new Manchester bar and restaurant Ithaca have said that it will open later this month.

According to the new restaurant's website, it will be located on John Dalton Street and will open to the public in two Saturday's time (May 17th).

It is believed that the nightspot will offer relaxed pan-Asian food and luxury drinking.

A statement from the owners explained it would provide "superlative food and drink in beautiful surroundings".

Ithaca is reportedly being partly run by the team behind Altrincham's Odysey bar and has cost over £3 million to open.

The fact that Roberto Cavalli Vodka and Perrier Jouet Champagne are listed as official partners of the joint indicates that it could be well position to gain a place as one of the city's top nightspots.

Once open, Ithaca will have to compete with a number of popular bars and restaurants in Manchester, including the nearby Panacea Bar and Cloud 23.ADNFCR-1603-ID-18580289-ADNFCR
