Ian Brown reveals intimate Sheffield warm up gig

Former Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown has announced that he will play an intimate gig in Sheffield as a warm-up for his festival performances this summer.

People wondering what's on in Sheffield will be delighted to hear that Ian Brown has revealed he will perform in the city on June 13th.

The Reign singer said that he would play at Sheffield's Academy venue in preparation for a summer bursting with festival performances.

After the Sheffield gig, the former Stone Roses man will play V Festival, Creamfields and Oxygen, as well as the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan and the Summercase event in Spain.

He is also lined up to play a massive UK tour in the autumn.

The sets are designed to promote the singer's fifth solo album, The World Is Yours. Released late last year, the record was well received by critics and fans alike and managed to reach fourth on the UK album sales chart.
