If you've a keen ear for the freshest contemporary beats then you'd have earmarked Sheffield party starters Banana Hill as ones to look out for by now.
Or if you haven't already, after previous shows that have brought the likes of Gilles Peterson, Romare and Seven Davis Jr to the venue, you might want to eradicate that error and keep a space in your diary for their New Year's Eve party happening at The Harley.
What with it being the biggest (and final) blowout of the year, and to pop their very own NYE cherry, Banana Hill are pulling out all the stops linking up some extravagant visuals with some hip shaking grooves provided by none other than Andrew Ashong, a man who debuted on Theo Parrish's Sound Signature label with the soul cleansing hit 'Flowers' below.
A fine purveyor of vinyl, Ashong is known to mine the electronic spectrum of it's many gems, playing anything from smokey jazz and soul through to funky disco numbers, an exquisite blend that has hooked in followers from across the globe. Grab your tickets here.
