Shrewsbury Fields Forever holds the title of Shropshire's biggest multi arena festival, and each yeah they've made it their aim to bring a fundamentally eclectic mix to the area. They cater to the needs of every genre, from indie to dance, alternative to pop, they've got it all covered on their line up.

Their colossal bill for the 12th-14th September has seen some impressive new additions penciled in over the past couple of months following their first announcement

Indie rockers The Cribs are a prominent expansion. Hailed as one of Britain's biggest cult bands, their rough and ready sound (listen to their hit Men's Needs above) and powerful lyrics pushed them into mainstream success. Teen starlet Chlöe Howl also joins the 2014 line up. Her witty songwriting skills trump those created by artists twice her age and she's already secured her gigs support Ellie Goulding and John Newman

If dance music is more your thing, British DJ and producer Sonny Wharton is set to send SFFF into frenzy. He's received praise from the big dogs, Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim and his track Pandemonium (check it out above) featured in the Beatport Top 10. Cream's original resident Paul Bleasdale will also be providing a house music-filled soundtrack this September.

It's not all about the music, SFFF have also developed a comedy tent. Providing the laughs is award-winning funny man and TV presenter Russell Kane. Simon Brodkin will be portraying his hilarious Lee Nelson character at the festival for a stand-up routine filled with audience interaction. Grab your tickets for the festival here
