Record label gears up for London showcase

People wondering what's on in London next weekend will be excited to learn that details of the second Poker Flat party of the year have emerged.Poker Flat has made a name for itself putting out records for the likes of Josh Wink, Steve Bug, Trentemoller and Phonique.
Now, the label has revealed that it is working with clubland institution secretsundaze to put on a showcase night at London club Plastic People in the East End.
Organisers said that the event would take place on May 15th and would run from 10pm until the early hours.
To show off the label, Parisienne D'Julz and London-based duo Dan Berkson and James What? will be taking to the decks in the club.
According to the team behind the event, Dan Berkson and James What? have "made a big splash since starting their live show a few years back" and will be making the most of the "club's legendary sound system".
They added: "D'Julz has been an established artist for many years with his long-running residency Bass Culture at The Rex and a string of strong releases on labels such as Ovum, 2020 Vision and of course now Poker Flat."
