Cream named best club ever

Liverpool club Cream has been voted as the Best Club Of The Last 25 Years in music magazine Mix Mag.The magazine produced the list as part of celebrations to mark its own 25th anniversary.
A public vote named the Liverpool club as the best in the world. In second place was London club Fabric. Other venues to make the top five include the Gallery, Manumission and the Hacienda.
Cream's James Barton commented: "Wow! This is truly an amazing honour, especially alongside all the great clubs that were also nominated.
"I would like to thank everyone that voted for us, to everyone that has helped us along way, but our biggest thanks has to go the punters who have made Cream so special"
Elsewhere in the lists, Underworld's Born Slippy was deemed the best dance song of the past quarter century and Daft Punk were crowned best dance act.
The best DJs were named as Carl Cox, Fat Boy Slim, Sasha, Pete Tong and Tiesto.
