A man of many talents, College, who also performs under the pseudonym Mitch Silver and heads up French imprint Valerie, is coming to hip Liverpool joint Leaf on the city's Bold Street on Friday 10th October.

The man behind the moniker is French electronica artist David Grellier. He's renowned for conjuring up 'A Real Hero' (below), a retro player that appeared in the 2011 classic film Drive, which was heavily renowned for its awesome soundtrack.

He is responsible for two albums, Secret Diary and Northern Council, as well as two EP's that draw upon wistful 80's synth pop with a contemporary twist.

The hedonism that his galactic output captures is perfectly suited to the intimate space that Leaf provides, ensuring that his Liverpool debut will deliver the ultimate synth revival experience. Grab your College tickets here.

Making a night of it? We've plenty of hotels in Liverpool to choose from.
