As one of the most longstanding clubbing brands to have emerged from Liverpool, the multiple winner of many industry accolades Chibuku continues into 2014 as dedicated to throwing the best parties as it did when it first set out. We check out the hugely popular club night's plans for May as it prepares for two further shows at the East Village Arts Club.

Duke Dumont + more TBA // Sat 17th May

Fresh off the back of his brand new number one record 'I got you' (watch above), making two in a row, the irresistible talents of Duke Dumont continue to clash the underground with unprecedented mainstream success.

Now with his Blase Boys Club imprint also doing the business both in club world and in the record industry (including an eye catching residency at Sankeys Ibiza), Duke Dumont and his gift for pop hooks, melodic bliss and superior dancefloor grooves continues to go from strength to strength. Dusky, Shadow Child, Hannah Wants + more // Friday 30th May

Chibuku ends May on a high with a jam packed line up of bass music and house giants soundtracking proceedings. At the helm comes Aus and School records favorites Dusky, whose marrying of 90s flavoured New York house, deep basslines and stripped back club facing beats has made them one of the fastest rising duos in the scene (evidence of this acumen is demonstrated on their 2KTV performance above).

Bass led house fiend and Dirty Bird favourite Shadow Child, the incredibly rapid and versatile DJing skills of Hannah Wants, the burgeoning house and techno nous of SecondCity (behind the brilliant 'I Wanna feel') and the riotous Eton Messy DJs will all be in full effect for Chibuku's final show of the month.
