Los Campesinos! confirmed for new festival

Welsh band Los Campesinos! have been revealed as the headline act at a new festival due to take place this summer.

People wondering what's on in June might be interested to hear that the Welsh seven-piece band are set to headline the Indietracks Festival in Derbyshire.

Taking place between June 26th and June 27th, the festival promises to provide more obscure music than the mainstream summer events.

Other acts playing at the festival include The Wedding Present, Darren Hayman, The Wave Pictures and The Bobby McGees.

The site for the event is a 1950-style steam railway.

Los Campesinos! released their debut album, Hold On Now, Youngster..., earlier this year. It received rave reviews from the likes of Pitchfork Media and Drowned in Sound.

Since the record's release, the band have been extensively touring to promote themselves, ensuring they will be well practised in time for their festival performance.
