In the last 18 months one duo have infused house music with a new sound, re-inventing the hip-house template of Jungle Brothers, Todd Terry and Tyree Cooper with a twenty first century twist, dubbing the sound ghetto house. That bounce heavy duo are Amine Edge & Dance.

They've taken the swagger and grit of hip hop and infused house's groove with it, ripping a number of infamous samples of rap stalwarts such as Mobb Deep and Notorious B.I.G and adding them to bouncy house, centering the focus on the drop and the bassline in the process. Their rework of Frank Ocean on their track 'Lost', above, demonstrates the formula effortlessly.

They'll be bringing this strut to the White Isle this summer by taking an exclusive residency at Sankeys Ibiza every Thursday for their record label CUFF. It follows several sold out shows in the UK, most recently in Sankeys' Manchester nerve centre on Saturday April 12th.

From Thursday 5th June they'll take up an 18 week residency, that culminates on October 2nd, with the likes of STUFF, Sirus Hood, K-LAGANE, Clyde P and The Beatangers, Ardalan and Stefano Ritteri joining the duo, who will play every date. Kanye West collaborators #BEENTRILL#  will also be lending their expertise across various dates on the season.
