| Well then... My weekly update slacked already didn't it? I promise from now on, every Thursday will be update day. Aren't you a lucky lot! I thought this week I would point out a couple of features from the Skiddle what's on guide that you might not have noticed. The I'm going to feature automatically lets all your friends on Skiddle which events you plan to attend in the future. Simply find the events you are interested in going to on skiddle - use the search box at the top right of the screen for a handy shortcut. Then on each listing you will see a little radio button that says "I'm going to" - well if you click on this it adds you to the list of people going to the event, as well as automatically updating you & your friends profiles - making it really easy to see who's going where and doing what when! For those facebook fans out there (even I have one!) then at the top of each listing you will see a share feature, which lets you post events you are going to on Facebook - saving you lots of time on both site. Simply click the Share on Facebook link, which pops up a window from the facebook website for you to complete your login details (Skiddle doesn't get to see these details!). You can then post the events you are going to straight to your facebook profile, for all your none skiddle friends to find! If you have got friends that aren't yet using skiddle then simply pop to http://www.skiddle.com/invite/ and pop their email addresses in there. We hope to see them on the site soon! | Blogs, Weddings and New Phones I thought, seen as im lying wide awake in bed at 9am on a Saturday. Im normally in the office by 8.30am, but that shouldn't be the case on Weekends. Whilst Im lying here then, I thought I might as well have a post on here, and if you fancy you can comment away. I bought myself a nokia 5300 yesterday as frankly Palm Treos are rubbish at making phone calls. As hand held offices they are brilliant, but thats no good when you want to know what time tea is or order a taxi.I've not yet emailed to order a pizza, so back to trusty old nokia for me. My beautiful girlfriend has just rolled over and told me she loves me, which is a gentle reminder that we're getting married. We set the date as the 11th April 2009, im not going to have a stag do as I fear for my life from the lads who have to get me back plenty times over ;o) RIghto, breakfast time. |
