My current kit is a Canon EOS400d, I go between a fixed 50mm f1.8 lens and a 28-135mm zoom for if I can't get where I want to be.
A battery pack and large capacity card are a must for any location work so they're on board too. In case of light emergency there's a 480ex flashgun on the top.
Mostly I shoot bands (check out 'The Consolations') I also enjoy dance events but don't seem to get out as much as I used to.
