The Essential Mix has long since been one of the world's most revered dance music Radio Shows. It's held a staggering past roster of the scene's most valuable players, covering the entire spectrum of dance music.

This Wednesday sees Radio One's Essential Mix beamed directly from one of Ibiza's hottest destinations - the mighty Sankeys Ibiza. We've talked before about Sankeys 20th Birthday celebrations, which will feature celebratory events taking place around the world, exporting the distinctive Sankeys vibe to the four corners of the globe.

As part of that, Radio One will be transmitting the sounds of Sankeys' Playa d'en Bossa home on July 16th, showcasing its lauded flagship night Tribal Sessions, which on the night will witness Greg Vickers and Just Be heading up the Basement, with tech house don Schlomi Aber rounding off the downstairs action.

Hogging the limelight though will be tribal house legend Danny Tenaglia, who takes to the LAB for a mega six hour set. He will be joined by Tribal resident Darius Syrossian, Jozef K, Manu Gonzalez, Rosario and Holly Lester (check out her awesome mix for us above) for one unforgettable Essential Mix transmission.
