The Wickerman Festival is less than 40 days away, so we thought it was about time to ramp up the excitement and see if we can't tickle your musical excitement with a competition.
Yes that's right, what would a skiddle showcase arena be without a skiddle DJ to showcase in it?? Ok, ok we have our usual residents who are getting ready to blow your socks off with some fantastic sets, not to mention our special guests this year Xpress-2, Greg Vickers and Tim Sheridan going b2b with no other than MR C!
If you fancy joining this little summer jaunt, whilst showcasing your DJ skills to a cast of thousands, now is your chance. Skiddle.com (that's us) have teamed up with Ecler and Orofon to give you a quite fantastic prize.
On offer we have:
- A DJ set in the Skiddle Showcase Arena on Saturday 26th July
- Weekend Ticket to the festival for you and a friend
- Return Transport from Manchester (Leaves Thursday 24th July)
- An Ecler Mixer!
- Ortofon Carts & Stylus
- Slipmatt & Lots more!
To win, you need to do the following.
- 1. Create a DJ profile for free on the skiddle.com dj showcase
- 2. Upload, or link to a mix hosted elsewhere
- 3. Once your profile is online, you should have a link that looks something like www.skiddle.com/djs/sonnywharton/
- 4. This is now your dj profile on skiddle.com - feel free to send this url to as many people as you like to let people read about you and listen to your mixes online.
For your chance to win: - email the link to your profile to support@skiddle.com with a quick note to say that you will like to be entered into the competition. We will then listen to all the mixes that we recieve by Saturday July 12th and announce a winner on Monday 14th July. Don't forget this is your chance to play the main skiddle showcase arena at The Wickerman Festival on Saturday July 25th.

The mix does not have to be brand new or full of the latest tunes, we are looking for talent and ability, if you have a mix that you are already proud of then please submit it for entry. Just because you play the latest tunes doesn't make you the best DJ!
