we got ourselfs vip tickets this year as we were one of the first 500 people to buy a ticket.

Does anyone out there know extra things you get fur being a vip ! or is just another colour of wristband so you can look a wee bit cooler !!!!

You get to use the Down and Dirty facilities - posh flushing toilets and hot showers, plus entry into the VIP bar area

ahhh - is there not VIP parking then? I thought you got to park a lil closer to where you camped with VIp tickets but perhaps I'm recallying wrongly??

me too treacletart, last year parking and camping distance were ace, but laast year i arrive much earlier than I'm able to this year so I thought getting VIP meant you had designated car parking which would avoid having to travel much of a a distance. When I've arrived later before on previous years I've had a reight crap time heaving all my shite around - I know its now massively far (having done glasto last week this gem of a festival is a doddle) - but still - me and my little uns dunt like hefting all our stuff if we can help it - we're lazy beggers at the best of times :)

No free drinks that I am aware of, however the VIP bar should be a little bit more special than the other bars this year, as i've spent the last 6 weeks building it.

are kids allowed into the bar(s)? The VIp one and others? I'm not sure I've even been into a baar at the wickerman before - how odd is that??

Yes, kids are allowed in the bars, but they won't be getting served, obviously.

If they have a VIP ticket then they can get into the VIP bar.

oh hell - more questions sorry - I didn't realise the kids had VIP tickets - as I purchased my kids tickets at the same time as mine does this mean their tix are VIP too, or did kids VIPs need to be purchased another way? And not wanting to come of a prat but... kids can get served soft drinks in the bar right?

Good question Hellsbells, I dont think the kids tickets were included in the "first 500 VIP". Does anyone have a Kids VIP that they purchased in the first 500?

What are we to do with the kids when we enter thr VIP area?

I dont remember seeing the option for VIP kids tix and I did look as it would have made sense to get them had they been offered. I bought the kids dnd passes seperately and now am thinking I may not have needed to as they too would have gotten them complimentary as part of their VIP package?? anyone???

There were no free kids VIP upgrades I'm afraid, the first 500 offer only applied to adults, so you were right to buy D&D passes for the kids

Not unless they have VIP wristbands I'm afraid. The upgrade was a bonus for adults booking early, but unfortunately the VIP bar is going to be very popular and there isn't the capacity to let everyone's kids in as well.
