off topic I know but I had to share...

saw MBV last night in the barrowlands...totally blew me away! it was just a beautiful insane wall of sonic/feedback/sound that just rolled out over and over...from the first cord I was transported back 20 years and started shaking my head (sadly devoid of hair now)and staring at my feet...MBV finished up a fantastic 80s inspired set with a 20 minute version of you made me realise which left me with a tear in my eye ( and a constant ringing in my ears)...I'm wishing now I'd taken advantage of the free ear plugs they were giving out as I'm now partially deaf with a healthy dose of tinitus...

signing off, drunk, tired, at work, deaf but happy and looking forward to WM in a few weeks

P.S. should be down on thursday night for the first time this year so should catch a few of you in the beer tent

Still off topic, but the festival season starts tonight for me.

Not what I would class as a real festival, but I'm dragging my son with me to London for O2.

So tomorrow if it all runs to plan we will be seeing Lightspeed Champion, Dirty Pretty Things, Black Kids, Courteeners, Siouxie Sioux, Beck, NY Dolls and Morrissey.

Highlighted are my must see bands/artists. Caught the New York Dolls in Glasgow on sunday. A great gig, and better than the last time they were here.
