SOUND CONTROL is a stunning three story premises situated in a bustling area of existing nightlife on New Wakefield Street off Oxford Road. The building backs directly onto the river Medlock and was originally used as a milk warehouse before becoming home to a store selling musical instruments for over 30 years. Initially A1 music and more recently Sound Control, bands such as Oasis bought their first guitars from this shop so it seemed natural to retain Sound Controls name along with existing interior features to what will ultimately become Manchesters most impressive one stop live music venue, basement club and ground floor feeder bar.
