also russia is not in europe, that really pisses me off!

Yes it is. It's not in the EU, but its the largest country in Europe after the Soviet Union was disbanded.

discofrisco al

its not in the EU there for theres no reason why the final should be played there!

if your gunna be like that were all connected somehow, so why not have the final in iraq???

my point it the final should be held in a country that has teams being represented!

Your making that common mistake where you actually think politics and football are related. The EU is a political and economic group of countries made up mainly by european states. The european cup is nothing but a football tournament made up of teams from europe. Lets be honest about it, most of the players from Chelsi, Manchester or Liverpool are hardly from the aforementioned cities are they.

Talking of Liverpool, you might remember a final in Istanbul not so long ago, when those famous Turkish teams Liverpool and AC Milan went head to head. As like any major tournament, it takes a lot of planning with the first thing you choose a decent venue. You can't just decide 3 weeks before hand that it can happen at that venue.

And your iraq comment is just stupid. EVrybody knows there is too much sand for football.

i really hope not but i think the combo of hooligans russian police brutality and the cheap vodka it will be inevitable

Moscow is NOT a cheap place, one of the most expensive cities in the world. The US $ rules over there...

As for Hooligans, its the Russian ones to watch out for. Any English are fair game to them. They've attacked plenty in the past, often going into the Hotels to have a go. England and Wales fans both got it when there for Qualifiers...

The Russian Plod aren't too bad, I've come across plenty worse (Slovakia and Croatia spring to mind). They all carry guns tho, and theres about 3/4 different levels from Street Cop thru to Army...

I've been there twice, and think its still a cracking place...
