Enjoyed Sat night meself - production was brilliant as usual, dissapointed for Gaz n Jamie with turnout being low. The venue itself is a great little place, so I disagree with Luke in all honesty, and to try and do something like Statik in a place like mood would be a joke as it's a commercial gaff and all they're interested in is the likes of Basshunter and fooking Booty Love. Concrete is a no-goer otherwise Uber would still be going? Carlisle is losing places to go out at an alarming rate (maybe not such a bad thing) it's becoming a battle for survival! | |

Kike ki said before on here, do a skiddle night. even wickerman warm up. all the dj's on here get 30-45 mins per set, get your mates a few though with promo and have a good doo. different styles of music. House, dnb, dubstep etc. even have decks downstairs and have some old stuff. I'd quite happly do some old house and funk/soul/chillout downstairs. It's be a good do! | |

This thread has gone on for a long time. Therefore the interset in Statik is defo there. I think you should just stick at it Gaz. I like Spirit as a venue and with the sound system you guys install only makes it better. Jamie is as good a dj as anyone in the region, he's been doing it years and i can remember the Perfect days when he used to rock Legends almost 10 years ago. Set your goals low then you won't be as disapointed if things go tits up now and again. It takes time to build up a reputation. It's not gonna happen over night. Realisticly i think if you get 100 people in regularly you could have a good party once a month, then build on that. | |
