After having its backdoors well and truly smashed in at its 1st birthday bosh-up, RONG return to do it all again with their end of year blowout! A perfect crowd coupled with a perfect music prescription that quite literally had people hanging from the rafters, made for the first of many perfect birthday parties!

Over the past year RONG has captivated the Northern clubbing scene with its bi-monthly offerings, asserting an intimate and ever-friendly party policy infused with quality trance. Showcasing some of the biggest names for what is only a young but ever flourishing brand, gaining unprecedented support in the process; RONG continue to raise the bar as they close 2011 with yet another highflying bill.

Headlining this end of year special is definitive Dutch DJ/producer Marco V! If you were to define the term dance music purist, youd take into consideration a number of factors... knowledge, passion and substance. Combine them together and you get Marco V. Marco has worked hard to create a sound easily recognisable by its constant drive and uplifting melodies. To stay ahead of the game you have to adapt as trends change, and Marco is the master of this. On the decks he holds complete control of the crowd with a style that is impossible to put into words, incorporating anything from fierce electro to driving techno and beyond. First stamping his authority on the world dance scene with his remix of the Energy 52, Cafe del Mar, as well as having resounding success with his release Godd, in Charge and Simulated all of which capture a bass driven sound, yet are not so relentless to prevent them gaining widespread appeal to lovers of all kinds of dance genres. Since then he has taken the scene by storm and continues to be one of the front-runners in the worldwide club scene. Travel the globe and youll be pushed to a find a major club that hasnt felt his force!

Joining him is one of the hottest DJ/producers of trance, fellow Dutchman Richard Durand. Recommended by Tiesto as his Tip for the Top in 2007, Richard responded with a string of stunning productions, including official remixes for Tiesto, culminating in a new entry placing in the DJ magazine Top 100 DJs poll and subsequent rise into the Top 50 places. Richards sound is trance, techno and tough electro in a unique package thats both dynamic and devastating. His ability to work crowds into a frenzy have cemented his place as a fans favourite worldwide with a DJ diary that reads like a whos who of A-list events.

Also gracing the stage and making his RONG return is UK based DJ/producer Chris Metcalfe. It was back in May Chris first took to the RONG stage, making a lasting impression in the process. Signed to trance giants Armada and Subculture, Chris has notched up some impressive releases in what is only the early stages of his career, gaining firm support from Armin van Buuren. With his diary progressively filling with gigs both in and outside of the UK, Chris is a rising star in the scene that is definitely shining brightly with his offerings so far.

Joining this trance-tastic trio is the main man of RONG James Rigby with support from RONG room two regulars Pete Bromage and B.Viss . Finally, room two will be taken hostage by the RONG DJs, presenting the fiercest local up-and-coming talent in trance scene.
