about Liquid Steel Sessions Liquid Steel is a Sheffield collective of DJs and MCs specialising in Dubstep, Bassline and Drum & Bass. Formed in 2007 by Reuben G & Skatta, LSS has moved from playing at cafes and bars to tearing up clubs and parties all round town with residencies at Ethio & Redrooms. By the end of 2008 they started booking major Dubstep acts, welcoming Croydon's Chefal & Kromestar as well as Sheffield's very own Rogue State. Liquid Steel is also expanding into the Leeds Dubstep scene with its new night 'Deep Freq' at Mint. On top of that Reuben G's productions have been getting airplay from 1xtra's Crissy Cris & Ras Kwame. After upping their game considerably watch out for a brand new LSS Podcast, some hot new cuts and as always the heaviest of club nights. Warming things up nicely, local riddim kings Alexi & BlengTeng set it off with the very best in classic and contemporary Reggae & Dancehall. Up next is the dynamic duo of R8 Records Autograff & Deadbeat, relentlessly ramming every dance with kicking beats and steel city basslines.
