Shrewsbury Fields Forever info
Genres: House, Rock, Drum n Bass, Indie, Electronic
Shrewsbury Fields is a festival that manages to bring together the very best in music, artistry, breakthrough acts, comedy and a unique sense of community lacking from many festivals.
Held very close to the centre of town, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights shows will feature a raft of up and coming talent along with big international artists playing everything from rock, indie, electronic, dance and alternative. Previous headliners have included the likes of The Charlatans, Ocean Colour Scene, Zane Lowe, Pendulum, Ms Dynamite, Kissy Sellout, and The Wombats. The list is as long as it is impressive.
What’s more, with the festival being so close to the town, you can easily find hotels to accommodate your Shrewsbury Festival in style. However the option is always there to camp if you want to stay true to the festival ethos, and remain right in the middle of all the action.
Also thrown into the mixture of this festival will be a fully operational fun fair, a wide range of performing arts, as well as visual and artistic entertainment found in the entertainment village.
Shrewsbury Fields Forever remains one of Shropshire’s most loved festivals. We look forward to what they have in store for us this year.
