After a long spell in live music playing lead guitar in local bands followed by the drums, James fell in love with electronic music.
He started by putting on nights around the north west of England to satisfy the needs of clubbers who lived hours away from the cities.
Before long he took an interest in the dj ing side of things and started to perfect the art of mixing, within the year his first mix Hamster Dust was runner up in Guy Ornadels Future Heroes Competition and James also reached the regional final of the Superstar Dj Competition sponsored by DJ mag.
He Started Playing Regularly at his own nights around the North West and was invited to play at Mish Mash in Blackburn, Beat Suite in Leeds and Refine in Carlisle.
By his second year he had secured a set at the Wicker man festival in Scotland and helped launch Skiddle.coms dj pages being the first Dj to go online with mixes ect...
After a 2006 which included playing at the wicker man festival in the skiddle.com main arena, James 2007 sets included - Turnmills, Sankeys, Refine in Carlise and a headlining slot in the skiddle tent at the Wickerman. 2008 is already off to a good start with James being signed to Afroboogie records, and his first single No Strings attached will be out soon.
