If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Manchester, the city offers ever kind of accommodation available. Hotels are generally available from around £40 per night, or Serviced Apartments for closer to £100 (shared between 4-8 people).

Serviced Apartments are a great idea if you're staying with a small group as they not only offer a place to sleep, but also a kitchen and living area with TV, etc - luxury! Staying Cool @ Castlefield are personally recommended by the Skiddle team! Think of staying in the big brother house but without the cameras! It is in the upper price bracket, but worth every penny - A double costs typically £109 or 6 of you can share for just over £30 each, and remember you can prepare your own meals, or call a take-away if you wish!

If you are looking for more traditional hotel accommodation, then the Express by Holiday Inn fits the cheap and cheerful bracket perfectly with rooms around £45 a night, or at the other end of the scale are the Malmaison or Abode hotels which offer more traditional, 3 star+ rooms.

The Hilton hotel, at the bottom of Deansgate is currently part of the tallest building in Manchester, however it will soon be overtaken by the Picadilly Tower. The plush hotel shares Beetham tower with private apartments, a restaurant and the aptly named 'Cloud 23' bar (located on the 23rd floor and offers a spectaular view over the city centre
