Burns Night Guide 2016

Burns Night in the UK

Each year, Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns is celebrated throughout Scotland and in many other towns and cities in the United Kingdom.

Traditionally, Burns Night (or Burns Supper) is a formal dinner event on the calendar, during which a bagpiper would 'pipe the haggis' with the evening ending with the 'toast to the lassies'.

Burns Night is now rapidly becomming an evening in the events calendar in which Scotland's heritage is celebrated in less formal environment.

Skiddle's Burns Night Guide 2016 is here to give you loads of information about Burns Night 2016 events taking place throughout the UK.
