Face Value
When you purchase tickets, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is set by the event promoter and in most cases we pay this full amount to the promoter without any deductions. In some circumstances, we may offer an 'all inclusive' price, with no booking fees and deduct our charges from the face value before paying the balance to the event promoter.
Booking Fee
A booking fee is added per ticket. This is the margin that Skiddle take to cover the cost of providing the secure ticketing service. This covers debit/credit card processing fees, VAT, customer services, call handling, account management, our secure server costs and profit. We try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. In some circumstances, a portion of this booking fee may also be paid to the event promoter.
Delivery/Processing Fee
Delivery fees cover the delivery of your order, either through the Royal Mail network or via our alternative options such as eTickets or RapidScan tickets. We keep these costs as low as possible and cover the costs we pay in delivering the order or providing technology such as barcode scanners at the venue.
We guarantee the booking fees on Skiddle are the lowest on the internet. If you find a cheaper booking fee (on a comparible ticket) cheaper elsewhere, contact us within 7 days of your purchase and we'll refund the difference (subject to terms). All prices shown include VAT.
RapidScan Barcoded eTickets
Fast track your way into the event with our new RapidScan tickets. We'll email you a link to your tickets which contain a unique barcode. Print them at home or work, then bring the tickets to the event where they will be scanned to allow rapid entry.
Regular eTickets
You will be emailed a confirmation of your order. At the event your name will be checked against a list and allowed to enter. You don't need to print anything beforehand, however you must show the debit/credit card at the door and all members of your group must enter at the same time.
Posted Tickets
Your tickets will be posted to you by Secure Delivery. You will be sent a tracking number once your order is dispatched. Someone will need to sign for the delivery, which will be made within 1-5 days of the dispatch notice. Remember, we can only dispatch tickets once we receive them in stock, which is usually around 2 weeks before the event. The latest you will receive your posted tickets is 48 hours before the event.
Posted Tickets (International Delivery)
Your tickets will be posted to you by Royal Mail International Delivery. You will be sent a tracking number once your order is dispatched. Someone will need to sign for the delivery. Please note, international delivery may not be available to all countries. If we cannot deliver to your address we will contact you to arrange collection from the event box office.
