The Japanese Popstars are an electro dance act from Derry, Northern Ireland. The group were formed after a number of drunken nights talking about the idea. Finally, after attending a number of big music festivals, such as Oxegen and Glastonbury, they were inspired to create their own music. Each DJ has his own alias. The act were nominated for Best House DJs at the 2006 World Urban Music Awards, Best Live Performance at the 2007 N.The Japanese Popstars News
